M&P Spring & Follower is equipped with our low-profile M&P follower. Our spring & followers are designed for USPSA Shooters. No Slide lock function. The follower Has a relief cut for the mag release. The M&P follower is Designed for the Factory 17rd mags equipped with 140mm extensions. The M&P RT11 follower combo maximizes every aspect of it for stage performance. Over 100 hrs in follower design development time, matches & practice sessions. The general feedback from our beta testers was it’s “23 easy reload.” We haven’t seen a new metal M&P to see if it changes anything for the capacity or ease of reloading. The chase for a solution for the threat of 2011s coming to carry optics is because most 2011s are capable of greater capacity with 140mm mag without pushing everything to a ragged edge. What is often referred to as small frame guns, which have smaller grips and narrower mags, have been capable of this, but it was a “special.” mag with a spring that had been “cut” and modified. Then you had to count how many stages you used, and as it got more & more uses, it was more of a gamble. So in late October, After a match at Miami Rifle & pistol club, we were eating lunch/dinner & We were talking about if we would change our shadow’s single action or leave them double action, just all pros & cons of what this change could bring.
